Don’t let social distancing put a chokehold on your career path! While many marketing professionals are capable of working from home, at least to some extent, the COVID-19 pandemic has put many of our professional goals on hold. If you’re experiencing reduced hours, a layoff, or a lot of extra downtime to fill, make this an opportunity to excel by earning online marketing certificates from home.

We’ve put together a list of online marketing certificates you can work on while isolated. Check out these low-cost and no-cost online certifications.

HubSpot – Free Inbound Marketing and Content Marketing Certifications

These are outstanding classes that you’ll use every day during your career as a marketing professional. They’ll cover SEO basics such as content, link popularity, and link management, and help you create meaningful content that will attract the right customers to your webpages and blogs.

Copyblogger Online Marketing Course – Zero Cost eBooks and emails

Copyblogger’s online marketing course is completely free. It consists of 16 eBooks and 20 emails for you to study. While it’s an excellent starting point to build your online marketing skills, we should point out that the content was developed in 2014, and there have been several changes to Google’s search requirements since then.

To put it another way, it’s a great class to build your online marketing foundation, but shouldn’t be your only  course. Follow up with Google Ads and Google Analytics classes at no charge.

Google Analytics Academy – It’s Free

Analytics Academy is a no-cost resource that focuses on understanding website performance tracking and metrics with Google Analytics. The courses range from beginner to advanced levels and are mostly video content.
