(Annapolis Junction, MD) — January 11
Print and communications industry leader, Ironmark, acquires fifty-year print veteran Printing Specialist as a key part of its family of brands. In joining Ironmark, Printing Specialist is introducing a new brand and logo across all its channels, one that celebrates its history and ushers in a new beginning for the company.
Printing Specialist has moved out of its Glen Burnie offices and become Ironmark’s neighbor at 9015 Junction Drive, Suite 5 in Annapolis Junction. This allows the two companies to share resources while maintaining their individual brands and client rosters. The Printing Specialist name will remain on, as will staff and leadership.
Ironmark CEO, Jeff Ostenso, spoke about what this partnership means for Ironmark. “Printing Specialist brings with it over 50 years of incredible contributions to the printing industry. The company has always been at the forefront of technology and at the forefront of customer service. From their work in the community to educating tomorrow’s print leaders, there is no one like Printing Specialist. We are thrilled to have them as part of the Ironmark family.”
Ironmark president, Matt Marzullo remarked, “As Union Bug #1, Printing Specialist has a dedicated roster of union clients, trade organizations, and political groups on its team. On top of that, PS is moving right next-door, which will be a great opportunity for our two spaces to collaborate seamlessly. This also creates an Ironmark campus, which we’re really excited about. This is a huge opportunity for both companies.”
Printing Specialist’s Scott Buswell called the acquisition “A perfect marriage,“ and that “Joining Ironmark allows us to move into a whole new realm of the printing space, all the while keeping the name and legacy we have built over the last five decades. We are excited to be part of Ironmark’s amazing team. I can’t wait for our clients to visit the new location. We’re really excited for how Printing Specialist is set up for the next fifty years. The opportunities for our clients and our future are endless.”
