Yes. Ok moving on…

What, you don’t believe us? Seriously! It is really easy to set up a web to print portal for your business. All you need is a little know-how and a little expert help to get things started. Here are some steps you can take to get your portal off the ground.

Install it

The first thing you need to do is get your portal installed and ready to go. This is the hardest part of having a web portal. You will need experts, like the ones at Ironmark, to get the initial installation set up and ready to go.

We wish there was a way around this, but everyone has different needs, and you need a team to get your marketing materials, store front, and all the things to work together. Plus, many portals are proprietary, so everyone is going to have different setups and features. Do your research here!

Secure it

Ok, so now that you have the portal installed, it is time to set up your permissions. These are the security protocols you want to implement. Your portal installation team will guide you through this process. Trust us, we know it can be scary to think that you must go through this long, difficult thing, but it’s not hard.

This is simply the time that you make sure that those who need access get it, and those who don’t, won’t. Setting up administration is super simple and with just a few keystrokes, you will be assured that no one will be able to get into your system that is not supposed to be there.

Use it

After the initial install and security setup, you are done! Now it is simply time for you to use your new portal. At this point, your system is configured to the specifications you discussed with your installation team. But what happens if you need to change something?

In many cases, training is provided so that you can take care of your issue yourself. However, if you do have any issues that you don’t think you can handle (or don’t want to handle), your portal provider should be able to handle it for you. This includes maintenance, updating security protocols, updating your product graphics, etc. Your provider should have a team ready to help you when you need it.
