We all wish for more hours in the day to get everything checked off of our to-do list. While there’s no way to add to the clock, there are ways to maximize the time we do have. Artificial intelligence (AI) is transforming the way we work and is integrating into every industry. There are many (many) tools that can help accomplish more during the day, including research, writing, creating presentations, and getting more out of meetings.
It’s important to note that not all tools are suitable for all industries, businesses, or needs. There are hundreds of platforms and tools available that leverage the power of AI, Machine Learning (ML), and Natural Language Processing (NLP), so it’s important to evaluate your specific needs and find the platform that best fits your requirements.
Outstanding AI Tools for Increased Output
We are diving deep into the new large language models and tools to educate our clients on how to make your work more productive, as well as determine what impact the new tools will have on marketing strategies we’ve relied on for years. Dedicated to helping clients and partners, the Ironmark AI Task Force has curated a list of the top five AI tools for business that can help boost productivity.
1. Beautiful.ai
Beautiful.ai fulfills the promise in its name. As an AI-powered presentation software, it makes creating a lovely slide deck presentation simpler. Beautiful.ai has layouts and styles predetermined with smart slides. All you have to do is choose your presentation’s colors, look for royalty-free photos, videos or icons in the library, and start assembling it. The platform includes several instances of AI functionality; for example, you can request an AI rewrite by selecting the relevant option after highlighting text. Tables and sliders can be used to update data that is frequently changing and the presentation’s values will then alter dynamically. This AI marketing tool is sure to cut down on the amount of time your team spends putting together presentations, and help increase efficiency.
2. ChatGPT
We know you’ve already heard about OpenAI’s ChatGPT. Taking the world by storm, ChatGPT has those who have never utilized AI testing out how it can improve their day-to-day through text generation. ChatGPT, powered by the GPT-4 learning model, is a chat bot you can ask to complete tasks such as creating blog topics, writing articles or emails, creating code, and pulling information. It interacts in conversational dialogue form and provides human-like responses to prompts.
Just like any new technology, ChatGPT isn’t perfect. Because of the data model it is trained on, ChatGPT does not always give correct answers. However, the more the platform is used, the more it learns and can admit when it does not know the answer. The good, bad, and the ugly of ChatGPT can be learned more about in our previous article, ChatGPT Knows Enough to be Dangerous.
3. Genei
Your new favorite way to research. Genei enables you to find useful sources for your content, or upload your own web pages and PDFs to create an organized library of information. All of these documents can be stored in projects and folders to ensure your work remains organized and neatly managed. You can then use Genei’s AI to extract key information from the articles, including the most frequently used keywords. Genei also offers an AI-generated summary of the content, as well as all of the images included and references to other work.
4. Wordtune
You may already be using Grammarly, which has its own AI functionality. However, Wordtune goes a few steps further than Grammarly. In Wordtune, you paste your text and a list of corrections and suggestions appears. For extra help, you can use Wordtune’s AI writing tool to:
- Change the tone. Whether you need formal or casual, Wordtune can change it for you.
- Rewrite. A dropdown of suggested changes will appear for any highlighted portions of the text.
- Shorten and expand. Sum it up or add some context. Wordtune can regulate length by adding or removing text.
Additionally, WordtuneSpices, currently in beta testing, is an AI writing tool that some are saying rivals ChatGPT. One of the most prominent features about Spices is that it provides users with a link back to where it found the information used when it generates text.
5. Otter.ai
No time for another meeting? Not to worry. Otter.ai is one of the AI tools for business that is going to free up a lot of your time. Otter.ai is an AI meeting assistant that records audio, writes notes, automatically captures slides, and generates summaries of the meetings you can’t – or don’t want – to attend.
When connected to your Google or Microsoft calendar, Otter.ai will automatically join and record your meetings on Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and Google Meet. If you’re unable to attend, you can follow along live on the web or in the app. Even if you are attending the meeting, Otter.ai enables you to collaborate with teammates in the live transcript by adding comments, highlighting key points, and assigning action items.
