  1. 1. Senior Content Strategist

    You love to understand, develop and write to different kinds of people. You write engaging, informing, persuading and remarkable content that drives people to take action. You are well-versed (slightly obsessed) with inbound marketing strategies, and are able to write for a variety of different voices, styles and formats. If this is you, we want to meet you!

    Ironmark is hiring a dynamic, experienced writer with an inspired curiosity about people and behavior. Our Senior Content Strategist will be highly skilled in understanding, developing, and writing to key audience personas for the purpose of engaging, informing, persuading, and retaining customers for clients.

    The very best candidates will possess the ability to write in a wide range of styles, voices, and formats, including website copy, downloadable content, blog posts, advertising copy, video scripts and emails. In collaboration with Account Managers, Content Strategists will be responsible for crafting audience personas and crafting messaging strategies that embody the client’s brand voice and successfully delivers high-value content across a portfolio of diverse businesses.

    Our Content Strategists own client content strategy and manage message development based on performance metrics and client feedback.

    Responsibilities

    • Persona Development – identify key audience segments for specific messaging strategies.
    • Key Messaging Development – interview clients to capture important information for messaging.
    • Content Strategy Development – align messaging with personas and buying journey to attract, convert, and retain customers for client accounts.
    • Content Writing – execute content strategy across various channels, leveraging client brand voice, including blogs, whitepapers, emails, social media posts, video scripts, website copy, digital ads, and others.
    • Competitor Research – develop competitor profiles to aid in content strategy development.
    • Industry Research – compile industry profiles for us in message development.
    • Market Research – profile consumer and prospect behaviors and attitudes within various markets to layer on detailed personas.
    • Keyword Research – identify opportunities for clients to leverage new topic clusters to optimize existing content and uncover potential rank-impacting strategies.
    • Content Planning – Collaborate with Account Managers on ongoing calendar for content development in coordination with SEO strategy and objectives. Plan, oversee and document all aspects of deliverable development, working closely with account team and creative teams as needed to ensure the scope and direction of each project is properly aligned.
    • Teamwork  – Communicate regularly with account team and management on project development, timelines, and results.
    • Collaborate with Ironmark marketing team on content strategy and perform various duties as assigned.

    Skills and Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Marketing or similar field
    • 4+ years of content writing experience, preferably for an agency; 2 years experience content strategy development.
    • Expertise in writing for websites, landing pages, long-form content, social channels, advertising, video, email, and print.
    • Exceptional ability to write in different voices and personalities – ranging from less formal, witty and compelling content for social media, blogs and email to more formal, data-driven language for thought leadership and research reports.
    • Understanding of best practices of search engine optimization, SEO.
    • Proactive, self-starter attitude
    • Excellent time management and organizational skills

    Preferred Experience

    • Experience writing for inbound marketing methodology.
    • Experience with HubSpot, Marketo or similar marketing automation platform.

  2. 2. Digital Marketing Account Manager

    Does the green plus sign on Google Analytics make your spine tingle with delight? Do words flow from your brain to the screen like melted popsicle juice falls to the ground on a hot day? If your creativity and analytical mind come together in digital marketing prowess, we want to talk to you!

    Our Digital Marketing Account Managers (DMAMs) are a skilled and curious online marketing gurus that develop, implement, track and optimize digital marketing campaigns for our clients. In essence, they serve as our clients’ own digital marketing departments (alongside our web design and development teams) — from increasing brand awareness, lead generation to customer delight. Our DMAM is the lead on the client account team; they create new online strategies, plan remarkable content strategies rooted in research, manage clients’ social media profiles and optimize their paid ads and landing pages. They learn a lot by doing so, and continually optimize our client campaigns, guiding them towards resounding success in achieving their goals. Sound like you? Read on.

    Responsibilities:

    • Manage the day-to-day execution of 3-5 client accounts including SEO/SEM, social media, email, display advertising, content marketing and other disciplines of inbound marketing
    • Develop and implement monthly and weekly action plans for clients
    • Lead weekly or monthly status calls with clients, including creating agendas and follow up reports
    • Be accountable for client results and progress toward client goals
    • Keep client digital marketing activities on time while constantly pushing the account forward with new, creative ideas
    • Create content for client blogs, social media and lead generation
    • Design, build and maintain clients’ social media presence
    • Create email marketing campaigns and lead nurturing workflows
    • Manage creation, testing and optimization of paid digital advertising
    • Identify trends and insights in each client campaign, and optimize campaigns based on results
    • Collaborate and coordinate with internal team members to improve aspects of a client deliverables, including user experience, landing pages, and lead generation components
    • Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns to clients monthly, and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs) monthly and quarterly
    • Maintain Inbound and Hubspot certifications
    • Collaborate with entire marketing team on Ironmark’s own marketing/new business campaigns

    Requirements:

    • Minimum education requirements: bachelor degree in marketing or a related field
    • 2 or more years’ experience in digital marketing, preferably with a digital marketing agency
    • Demonstrated experience in SEO, content marketing, email marketing, social media, Google Adwords and Analytics
    • Proficiency in marketing automation and blogging software in order to generate traffic, convert visitors into leads, and then nurture them (using dynamic workflows) into converted customers (examples: Hubspot, Pardot, Marketo, Eloqua, etc.).
    • A deep understanding of the full marketing funnel
    • Superior written and verbal communication and presentation skills
    • Experience using HubSpot to run an inbound marketing campaign is highly desired
    • Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement
    • Roll-up-your-sleeves attitude with passion and positive energy; team player.
    • Excellent analytical skills, commitment to clients, and proven ability to manage expectations

  3. 3. Account Coordinator

    The Account Coordinator is responsible for receiving orders from clients and our sales team, overseeing and checking the specifications for each job, reviewing all materials from electronic media to laser and color match proofs, and making sure these meet necessary requirements to produce a quality final product. The Account Coordinator is a liaison between in-house personnel and clients for all printing issues and concerns. You will be responsible for updating all information daily into the Electronic Jacket, overseeing the entire print process and ensuring the successful delivery of jobs, as well as identifying and troubleshooting difficulties to ensure cost-effectiveness and the delivery of a quality product. Must be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.

    Requirements:

    Knowledge of the printing processes and equipment, press specifications and capabilities to produce digital and offset printing

    Ability to communicate effectively to negotiate with customers/vendors

    Knowledge of specifications for paper and inks needed to produce all quality levels of printing

    Experience in gathering information needed and administering PO for print and binding contracts to ensure that product, service, and price objectives are met

    Perform Press and Bindery Inspections as required. Approve Final Quality Control Samples for accuracy prior to delivery. Provide follow up inquiries with clients to ensure customer satisfaction.

    Extremely detail-oriented with strong problem solving and organizational skills while using resources to their fullest

    Experience with a PC: Windows, Excel, Microsoft Word.

  4. 4. Print Estimator

    Ironmark is a full service print, creative, marketing and communications partner to help businesses achieve impact and involvement. We are seeking an exceptional, talented individual to join operations in our growing company as a Print Estimator at our Annapolis Junction location. This is a unique opportunity for an individual with interest and experience in printing and graphics to work and be involved with the estimating and quoting process, and work with the latest in technology.

    The Print Estimator candidate must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills with clients and staff. Ability to establish client relations, listen to client goals, and maintain community rapport are a must for any applicant. The Print Estimator candidates must be highly organized and be able to work efficiently on multiple projects to meet tight deadlines. The Print Estimator position also involves frequent use of technology; some company specific process training will be provided, but strength with computers and technology are a must.

    Responsibilities:

    • Estimates and quotes labor and material costs of printing and binding books, pamphlets, periodicals, and other printed matter, based on specifications outlined on sales order or submitted by prospective customer.
    • Examines specifications, sketches, and sample layouts, and calculates unit and production costs, using labor and material pricing schedules, and considering factors such as size and number of sheets or pages, paper stock requirements, binding operations, halftones, number and units of colors, and quality of finished product, to determine cost effective and competitive price.
    • Confers with department heads or production personnel to develop or confirm information regarding various cost elements.
    • May estimate cost of mailing finished printed matter if specified on order.
    • May estimate labor and material cost of specific phase of printing, such as plate making or binding.
    • Skills:
